Grand National on Saturday, who wins? I have crunched the trends and come up with these 4 (will probably ditch the fav at the price he's at):

Corach Rambler
Galliard Du Mensil
Fury Road
Velvet Elvis

Ah. We've moved on to another event.

And there was me hoping this would be the news that the last of the GN stragglers had finally crossed the finishing line.

Caught up with it this AM Cough son... the 2nd day on the sauce caught up with me so I was in bed by 10pm as got another heavy day today... taken me eyes off Yank racing and not into it nowhere near as much as I used to be but headlines of 7 horses dying at Churchill Downs is not good (none actually died in the KD the others died over the three days).,, some type of investigation will have to be made... similar thing happened a few years back at Santa Anita and they stopped racing there for a time... but yes leaves a bad taste in the mouth for sure. However the KD race itself was as exciting as hell... over 150,000 people were there at the Downs... and the whole country comes to a standstill to watch the race.

soldo, what's happened to your beloved Kentucky Derby, two horse died and two more earlier in the week?

OK the Grand National is a bit dangerous as some of the fences can be deceptive to a horse but a flat race?

Arkle would have pissed this, trouble is I don't think his owner the Duchess of Westminster would have risked him.

Re: Grand National 2023
I was watching something on a news channel the other day and they were talking to some Animal activist type who was saying they are planning a mass protest at this years Grand National, they want horse racing banned, so if a few turn up it could make for interesting viewing!

And at least it ensures no traffic delays the stop oil and other planet saving hysterical types will all have there animal rights hats on and be joining arms or gluing themselves to beachers brook………….
